1. Start in the Village Hall car park - walk out of the car park by turning right heading through the village centre. Taking note of joffcos for your return and that well deserved coffee and cake treat!

2. Turn left at the mini roundabout, and head towards the Kingfisher Pub. Across over here and follow the sign upto the church.

3. Once up at the Church turn around a take in the view. On a clear day to your right you can see both the White Horse and York Minster. Turn left and follow the signs heading across the top of the hill and down.

4. On your right as you walk across is Holme Hall now a Sue Ryder care home. You will also pass the former Observer corps post (more to come on this when available)

5. You will now walk over a series of fields till you come to a road. Here you have a choice, you can turn left which will take you to The Land of Nod and the Old Market Weighton Cannel. There isn’t much left of either of these features. We hope to include more information on both these at a latter date. If you decided to turn right this will take you back towards the village at the main road turn right again and this will take you back to the village centre. You can also go straight across at the crossroads and take the longer route through the village.

From the Comms Mast look left to see the original sighting place of the beacon

Yes it Does exist !

Now for that well deserved Hot Chocolate at Joffco's!
