Public Consultation on plans for a Yorkshire and Humber CCS Cross-Country Pipeline

The National Grid has sent information about this consultation on a solution to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from power stations and industrial plants in our area. The proposal is to build a cross country pipeline and a sub-sea pipeline to transport CO2 to a permanent geological storage site beneath the North Sea

There are public exhibitions as follows
The Shire Hall Howden 3pm to 7pm Wednesday 25 September
Holme on Spalding Moor Village Hall 3pm to 7pm Thursday 26 September
Market Weighton Community Hall 11am to 3pm Saturday 28 September

Information is also on display at East Riding Council Beverley, Goole Library, Howden Library, Market Weighton Wicstun Centre, Selby Library during these dates

You will be able to view the preferred route for the pipeline and locations and design of installations required to support the pipeline
