ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC TO

A 163 ROAD FROM FOSS DYKE TO MAJOR BRIDGE, FOGGATHORPE.
The East Riding of Yorkshire Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an order, the effect of which will be, to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along A 163 road from Foss Dyke to Major Bridge, commencing Monday 25th November 2013.

The closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing work to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order will be valid for 18 months but it is anticipated that the work will completed within 2 weeks.

The alternative route available for traffic affected by the road closure will be via A163 to Bubwith, B1228 to Howden , A614 to Holme upon Spalding Moor and A163. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
